Building a Wardrobe

(top: Liz's Shirt Fall 2006 in Pencil)
(bottom: Simplex Munditiis Winter 2006 in Wet Ink, Graphite and Charcoal;
piece inspired by Simplex Muditiis by Ben Johnson 1573-1637
STILL to be neat, still to be drest,
As you were going to a feast;
Still to be powdr’d, still perfumed:
Lady, it is to be presumed,
Though art’s hid causes are not found, 5
All is not sweet, all is not sound.
Give me a look, give me a face
That makes simplicity a grace;
Robes loosely flowing, hair as free:
Such sweet neglect more taketh me 10
Than all th’ adulteries of art;
They strike mine eyes, but not my heart.

Clothes are for moments in a Women's life. A dress she can depend on, one that is timeless but comfortable to wear and appropriate for her life.

Getting up early for your cup of morning coffee dressed in pretty is a ritual for the perfect day to come. perhaps tomorrow
